Time to relax...
And have that all important glass of Bubbly!
How long will it take ?
. Bridal Hair usually 1 hr Makeup 1 hr
I have grown increasingly quick over the years and the pressure makes it all the more fun for me!
My biggest party was 12 hair and make-up to be complete by midday!
Your wedding day...
If you have any queries or questions before your big day, don't hesitate to call me on 07966295739 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I will arrive at your chosen venue at the time that we agreed when you had your trial and begin to work my Magic!
I usually spend some time getting to know your Bridal party a little more to ensure everyone feels totally at ease in my hands.
It's not always necessary for all Bridesmaids to have a trial so some of them may need me to clarify what we have decided will work best with their hair type and dress.
However i am always able to make minor adjustments to suit the individual, should they have a particular worry, and also i can add hair if need be to create a fuller or longer end result.
As you can see on the left, Lisa wanted all of her Bridesmaids to have the same style, so where needed i added hair to create a princess effect on all of them. Also Lisa wanted long full hair with lots of height and body so i also added extra hair to create her look.
I usually begin work on the bridesmaids first to help the bride relax, although i never leave the bride until last, just in case we need to make any final adjustments.
So once i have completed all the hair and you are all happy with your styles, i begin on the make-up.
I consider MAC a real favorite of mine and over the years have tried various other brands...Having suffered with oily skin myself, i'v found that MAC stays put all day and keeps you looking fresh.
I believe a fresh dewy glow works better on a wedding day than thick layers of foundation, so i tend to go for a less is more approach and rather than add too much colour, i work with highlighters to enhance the natural contours of the face so you look amazing in your photographs ( However i have had the odd unusual request and i'm happy to oblige).
If you are requesting false lashes, i can add them on the day for a small charge,or i can see you the day before if you require party lashes which last for about a week.
Once we have completed your trial i give you a list of all the make-up i'v used so you can purchase it if you wish. I would recommend you buy the lipstick, so you are able to top it up throughout the day.
Once i have completed your make-over i will call u back one by one to check all areas are perfected.
Then i will leave in time for you to gather your thoughts and all your bridal party to have a drink of bubbly no doubt before you head off!
. How much will it cost ?
I cater for the individual so prices vary from style to style, however my price guide on here is the maximum you would pay. Simple styles may be less. I Can work within your budget and make suggestions to help you save money. e.g A trial for all bridesmaids is not necessary, as long as i can meet them and discuss options, and they can see how i work with you. That usually fills them with confidence and maybe do one or two trials, the rest i can do on the day. The same with makeup.
If you need to borrow some hair extensions i charge a deposit which is refundable after the wedding day.
I charge a small cost to cover travel costs and petrol...Will vary depending on distance.
